Tangent Projects undertakes commercial construction projects as principal contractor, applying its own staff and subcontractors as appropriate to the requirements of each scheme. Contracts are managed intensively from on-site offices to ensure complete control of quality, programme and budget. Much of our work is repeat business from previous clients and by reputation.

The company specialises in two types of work:
- Refurbishment of "used" and "tired" buildings (or parts of them) for landlords, including the upgrade or renewal of mechanical and electrical services and supplies, re-presentation and reconfiguration of common parts and reception areas. Exterior works undertaken include re-cladding, window replacement, roofing and new building or extension works.
- Fitting-out and furnishing commercial, education, government and health care interiors for occupiers, including all finishes, services, air conditioning and cabling works. Space planning and design services are available, although we also accept instructions from clients' agents, their design contacts, or can subcontract clients' contacts, to suit a variety of contract situations.

We often provide realistic pre-contract or pre-purchase budget assessments, collaborating with the client and professional team at an early stage and offering recommendations to enhance a project's cost efficiency.
It is the company's aim to achieve the most efficient, appropriately resourced and best value construction solution to each project. Our suppliers are only highly professional firms and individuals and rigorous selection criteria are used. We target contracts that are typically of £100,000 to £1,500,000 value, although these figures are flexible.
